Amanda grew up in Manchester, NH. After high school, she worked in retail, managing the logistics for a large toy store, and then managing the showroom for a jewelry store. She then moved into the hospitality industry, working to help manage a hotel while also raising her young son, Vincent. In 2012, Amanda brought her problem-solving and customer service skills to Merrimack Mortgage Company, which eventually would become HarborOne Mortgage. During her career with HarborOne, Amanda started with helping to set files up for underwriting, to ensure that loan files were processed and underwritten as smoothly and quickly as possible. Eventually, she became a team leader for this department, in charge of over half of the volume for the entire company.
When new technology was introduced which helped facilitate a smoother underwriting process, Amanda was moved to the Business Integration team. In this position she helped introduce, manage, and streamline many of the software programs the company relies on to originate mortgages efficiently and accurately. While Amanda liked this position, she wanted to return more to the “front line” and have a more direct impact in helping families with their home financing needs – so, she joined the Corey Scott Team as a mortgage consultant.
Amanda grew up in the “big city” and decided to move to a small town in NH along with her husband, Ben, and her son. When she is not working, Amanda loves to spend time with her family and going on hikes with their rescue dog, Buckley. Amanda also volunteers doing home visits and transportation for Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, helping to connect rescue dogs with wonderful new forever homes!
